Built on Experience. Driven by Craftsmanship.
At Whiskey Four Pools, we believe that luxury pool construction should be more than just an addition to your backyard. It should feel like it was always meant to be there.
Founded by Kelly Peel, Whiskey Four Pools brings years of hands-on experience in luxury pool design and construction to homeowners throughout the Texas Hill Country and Greater Austin area. Kelly began his career in the pool industry in sales, generating more than $20 million in pool sales before moving into construction management. Since 2021, he has personally managed the construction of over 200 custom pools.
That experience has created a deep understanding of what it takes to build a pool the right way—encompassing design and engineering, excavation, plumbing, structural construction, masonry, finishes, and the intricate details that bring the entire outdoor space to life.
Why Whiskey Four?
The name Whiskey Four is personal. It originates from W4, the tail number carried on founder Kelly Peel’s grandfather Werner Birkelbach’s glider. Werner was a World War II U.S. military glider pilot who flew a combat mission into Normandy during D-Day. His passion for aviation continued long after the war, with gliders remaining an important part of his life.
Whiskey Four is a tribute to that legacy. For Kelly, the name represents more than just a piece of family history; it embodies the qualities behind that history—courage, precision, craftsmanship, independence, and a commitment to purpose. These same principles form the foundation of Whiskey Four Pools, reminding us of our roots and the high standards we strive to uphold.
A More Personal Approach to Pool Building
Whiskey Four Pools was established with a straightforward idea: homeowners deserve a pool builder who is involved, accessible, and accountable throughout the entire project. We take a hands-on approach to every build, working closely with our homeowners, designers, engineers, and trusted craftsmen from the initial concept through to the final details of outdoor space design.
Our goal isn’t to construct as many pools as possible; it’s to create exceptional pools that prioritize quality.
More Than a Pool
The best outdoor spaces aren’t just designed around a pool alone; they're designed with your lifestyle in mind. From custom pools and spas to outdoor kitchens, covered living areas, fire features, water features, decking, landscaping elements, and complete backyard transformations, Whiskey Four Pools can seamlessly integrate every piece into one cohesive design.
Whether your vision is clean and modern, timeless Hill Country, resort-inspired, or something completely unique, we approach every project with the same unwavering standards: thoughtful design, quality construction, and meticulous attention to detail—with no shortcuts.
At Whiskey Four Pools, we’re not just building a place to swim; we’re crafting the perfect outdoor space you'll want to enjoy for years to come.
